“Live Life King Size”, an anthology of English stories, released

Hyderabad: “Live Life King Size”, an anthology of short stories written by Amballa Janardhan, was released on 27th August, 2010 at 6PM in Hyderabad City Central Library Hall. The book was released by Dr. I.V. Chalapathi Rao, eminent educationalist and editor of “Triveni”. Addressing the meeting, Dr. Rao opined that the stories written by Janardhan are thought provoking, message oriented and depict the plight of beedi leaf workers and rural people. He appreciated Amballa Janardhan, the author of the book, as well as the assistant editor of Triveni magazine D. Ranga Rao, who translated the stories from Telugu to English.
Presiding the meeting, Dr. K. Shivareddy, eminent poet, appreciated Mr. Janardhan as the creative writer who can write the stories as well as poetry in an effective manner. Prominent writer Saleem reviewed the book. Aruna Mayuri Nayak received the first copy of the book. Raghu Sree, the secretary of Manasa Arts Theatres, co-ordinated the book releasing function.
 On this occasion, a seminar was also held on “Contemporary Indian Literature and Translations”. Mr. Raghuveer Pratap, Mr. Raghu Sree, Mr. Chakravarthi, A.ChayaDevi, Saggu Rajayya, Potturi Vijaya Lakshmi and others participated in the seminar.
